The Role
Not too easy or difficult but challenging enough to keep you learning new skills.
Very welcoming, lots of help if you get stuck.
Very friendly and easy to approach if needed.
Slower to begin with while i was settling in and then the work increased as I was able to take on more.
Enough responsibility for an undergraduate to take on.
Very useful in my final year as it was a lot more practical use of the things you learn in University.
The Company
Some great characters that keep the office a fun place to work.
Apart from the first couple of days when I wasn't sure of things, the rest of the placement seemed very organised.
Any training I needed I was booked on straight away to make sure I had the skills for the job.
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Was offered a job when I left on condition of final grades.
The Culture
Plenty of nights out involving other placement students and current employees.
Housing reasonable and living and socialising costs affordable.
It's Stevenage so it will never be the best but there are a lot worse places and easy access to trains so can always go elsewhere
Lots of activities planned.
