About You
The enjoyability was limited since the program had to be delivered online. However the BP employees gave their best attempt to make the presentations informative.
BP made sure to inform candidates via a phone call that the on sight insight week was cancelled due to Covid 19.
Again the Covid 19 situation limited the amount of guidance received. However the session where breakout rooms were used to go over technical interview skills was very informative. More breakout room or activities would help to make other sessions more engaging.
The information provided was very useful for future applications and interviews but not really relevant to any specific degree or course.
The Company
The insight was very spaced out and we were given a single zoom call a week which made it easy to attend all sessions.
General atmosphere was fine. If a session was missed, participants could easily reach out via LinkedIn to obtain any information they required.
Everything Else
I was told that I would still be paid, even though the insight week was now online but as of writing this I have not been paid.
No real chance to network. This could've been done by utilising breakout rooms.
They could've organised a specific online session for networking. There were no real opportunities to do so other than reaching out via LinkedIn at the end of sessions.
Yes, BP was very informative on the variety of clubs and committees that employees can get involved in.
The insight gives a fast-track to an interview to the following year.
