About You
I absolutely loved the Spring Week! Having done an insight week at a different bank before, I expected it to be mainly about the different divisions at JPM. However, I was pleasantly surprised that most of the program was trainings and webinars. I definitely learned a lot during that week and during the "Continuing Education" series. I think that the virtual format of the spring week was successful as well! I am definitely going to apply to the Summer Program!
I felt very valued during the Spring Week. We were given a lot of talks and educational webinars, even after the official Spring Week ended, which showed how the company really cares about its potential employees.
We were given a lot of support, all of our questions were answered over Zoom or email.
As an Economics student who takes a lot of modules in Finance, the information given to us during the Spring Week was very helpful. It gave me a general idea about what the money market is and helped me understand the big picture, not just economic theories behind it.
The Company
I really liked the structure of the insight week. I thought the mixture of educational webinars about finance and talks about the divisions at JP Morgan was very appropriate.
It was lovely! I feel like I made made friends during the insight, despite it not being in-person. I really liked how friendly JP Morgan employees were as well!
To a large extent - JP Morgan provided educational webinars and trainings even after the official Spring Week ended.
To a great extent - it was especially helpful to hear the employees' experience.
A lot! I especially found it helpful to hear JP Morgan's take on CSR and their sustainability initiatives.
It was very valuable, it made it clear to me that asset pricing is what I'm interested in and that it is what I'd like to pursue in the future.
Everything Else
I was not paid or reimbursed expenses because it ended up being a virtual event because of covid-19. But if it was in-person then I'd be reimbursed for travel and accommodation expenses.
Yes!
It was good, despite it being virtual.
Yes, a lot about volunteering work.
FOR SURE! It was really insightful and a great experience!
