About You
The virtual insight programme was an incredible opportunity to get an insight of the work and lifestyle at Rothschild & Co. There were many informative presentations which furthered my knowledge on Global Advisory and I enjoyed questioning those presenting. I was given plenty of opportunities to meet other people on the programme and I am still in contact with many as a result.
All the bankers who took the time out of their day were very happy to speak and engage with me. The quality of the programme gave me the impression that we were valued at the firm.
From the beginning, we were given various points of contact if we had any questions. We were also given a banker as a virtual buddy who we could speak to about any technical questions we had throughout the week.
I felt like I built upon various skills as a result of the programme. My knowledge of the specific fields within GA was enhanced as a result of the informative presentations and case studies. The assessment centre workshop was extremely useful and definitely improved my interview skills through working together in groups to construct well-rounded answers.
The Company
The programme was very well executed, with a booklet of the full schedule sent in advance. The presentations were presented on their own video conferencing system which allowed opportunities for insightful Q&A. All the sessions started on time and I was always aware of where I was meant to be.
Although hard to create a good atmosphere on a virtual programme, I was extremely impressed by the opportunities to meet other participants through various organised activities and a group project. The networking group sessions allowed you to get an overall picture of the firm.
