    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Found a great firm with a unique and inclusive corporate culture. People are passionate about their job and they are capable to share such passion with others.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • A lot. I always felt I could ask any question and share any view with them

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Very supportive, provided help when needed and always ready to answer my questions and find some time to go through their day to day activities.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Pretty busy as I tried to spend as much time as I could with the team members and I also had plenty of events throughout the day.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given three projects at the beginning of the internship and I had to learn how to manage time effectively in order to deliver each of them in time. Together with this, I was working on desk-specific daily tasks, which has given me a great sense of what the day to day activities look like.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The skills I developed will always assist me and the experience has been incredibly insightful. I learnt what it means to be passionate about your job, to work hard to achieve a goal, to be respectful of others and to learn from mistakes.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Well organised if we consider all the difficulties related to the experience being virtual. All the softwares were working properly so overall it was a positive experience.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • We didn’t have many opportunities to meet and socialise due to the internship being virtual. We still managed to get to know each other but it was not as fun as if it was in person.
