The Role
I really enjoyed the internship and it was a great learning experience.
HSBC employees made me feel very valued as I met employees from all over the bank.
All activities were well organised and explained.
I was kept very busy throughout each day with any breaks taken to network and also homework for the next day.
The placement was more about learning than responsibility which I enjoyed however I did have chances to be responsible with presentations and tasks.
The internship taught me a lot and will be very valuable as I try to obtain a career in banking.
The Company
Generally very fun and enjoyable however still kept formal.
Considering this was the first year that a spring insight programme had taken place at HSBC it was very well organised.
I learned a lot however the real learning curve will take place if I make it onto the summer internship.
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
I hope that I left a good impression with the company and if I can shine at the assessment day I would certainly enjoy a career with HSBC.
The Culture
I got on very well with other students.
HSBC paid for most expenses.
The drinks and dinner I had with HSBC were very enjoyable.
The programme included networking drinks and a networking dinner.
