The Role
Very slow training process, a lot of self learning. Quite good support ressources. Stil some confusion around some working processes. Overall good learning experience in sales and fairly straightforward goals.
Strong company culture, very nice environment but valuable feedback is often given. Some effort towards creating social environment outside of work, which is not easy considering that we are all working from home.
Quite good, supervisors and managers often busy, however often check ins to see what is going well, what can be improved and how we can be trained. Many different people involved in training.
Some days are very busy, some a bit less. Overall correct workload with flexibility in terms of choosing how to manage workload.
Fairly large amount of responsibility. Clear and defined role given. A lot of independence and trust from supervisors and colleagues
Developed some practical skills that I would not necessarily learn in my degree. Good to have this in addition to what I am currently learning.
The Company
No office, working from home, so this is irrelevant
Quite well organised. On time delivery of equipment. First few weeks are training, then gradual ramping. However some aspects of training could be improved as they are very general at the beggining.
Great investment, can tell that Box value interns and want to provide working experience as well as smooth experience
Working from home
If placement is going well/ enjoyable for interns doing this internship, future employment prospects can be strong
The Culture
yes, in context of pandemic this is more difficult to accomplish. But strong friendly atmosphere
London is expensive, however socialising is fairly easy. Therefore the bar is midway
Covid-19 = no nightlife
A few work associations
