The Role
9/10 I really enjoyed my time with the bank. The internship itself was insightful and rewarding. I would recommend anyone interested in the relationship banking industry to apply to this internship. I was introduced to somebody from every department across the bank. Getting to learn from a variety of individuals across multiple departments.
10/10 From the first day it felt like I was a fully fledged member of the team. I was left to complete tasks alone with my own responsibilities within the first week.
8/10 The support I received was exceptional. Every single person I met within the bank was helpful offering whatever support they could in any situation.
7/10 This depends on what you make of the internship. If you approach the role proactively there is also something interesting and new each day.
10/10 By the middle to end of the internship I had the same responsibilities as a fully fledged member of team. It was refreshing to be considered an equal.
7/10 As parts of my modules relate to banking, this internship has given me an invaluable insight into the banking world. This has helped me to understand different parts of my modules more throughly, which hopefully will convert into better results this year.

4/10 Specific personal training would been helpful in relation to different systems the bank uses.
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
10/10 I have managed to secure an extension with the bank to work one day a week whilst finishing my studies.
The Culture
5/10 Whilst I have been told about the good social scene the internship took place over lockdown and so social activities were reduced.
6/10 I lived 30mins drive from my office. So I stayed at my uni accommodation and drove in. Relatively cheap.
5/10
3/10 I met another colleague from a different branch once. However, due to social distancing these opportunities were significantly reduced.
