The Role
I found I was giving good quality work and the relevant support which meant this placement was very enjoyable.
I was quickly accepted by my colleagues and was given good support and feedback on my work which was very helpful.
Always answered my questions and made sure I had enough useful work to be getting on with. I also received good feedback on the work that I did.
I was slightly busy but that was the way that I enjoy work. I am glad I was given good quality work.
I was given as much responsibility as possible, as this was only a week this was limited, but I couldn't imagine receiving any more responsibility within my week.
Learning key research skills and very practical skills that I can take to my next placement and throughout my career
The Company
Everyone was in a very good mood even when we were busy. It was a nice atmosphere to work in.
Very clear organisation, with timetables telling us where to be when, once an event was underway. I found that the Graduate Recruitment were very approachable.
They helped me develop my focus for undertaking a career in law. They also opened my eyes to different areas of work such as Dispute Resolution.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
I very much enjoyed my placement with Nabarro and would hope to get a job offer from them in the future.
The Culture
The majority seemed similar to myself and very social at the pub quiz that was organised.
It is in central London so not cheap, but it was as expected.
Seemed like there were a lot of pubs and bars around but it is very close to places with great nightlife, so it wasn't an issue.
Lots of Pro Bono work and everyone seems very friendly.
