  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • My work placement was incredible and I am so grateful for the opportunity I was given by Adobe. I was lucky enough to get the chance to organise the coolest events and meet the most amazing people. Everyone at Adobe is so friendly and welcoming, they made my time incredible and couldn't have been more helpful - what a lovely team. Working as a campaign marketing executive for Adobe was the best job ever and I would love to work there in the future.

  • My colleagues always made me feel valued within the team and always made an effort to ensure I felt comfortable to ask for help. I never felt out of place or uncomfortable, and always knew who to turn to for advice. I couldn't have wished for a better team and a lovelier group of people to work with.

  • My day varied in regards to busyness, as some days leading up to an event I would be exceptionally busy but other days were quieter. I always had something to do and was always given an opportunity to think of new creative ideas which would impact the business.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The atmosphere in the London office (where I worked) was extremely professional, but also full of life. Everyone was exceptionally focussed when undertaking work, however if I wanted to stop for a chat in the kitchen, everyone was willing to have a conversation.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Adobe provided me with a lot of training and development opportunities, with unlimited access to LinkedIn Learning to better my employability skills. The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • All placement students working for Adobe were friendly, sociable and outgoing - we had a great time! We organised a lot of evenings out after work for drinks to get to know each other and stay connected. I still am in contact with some of the placement students from Adobe.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I was living in London during my placement year which was expensive, not only to live but also to go out. Even to go out for a few drinks after work was pricey, and transport was also expensive. However, the atmosphere was great and definitely worth it.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • The nightlife in Shoreditch was awesome! The atmosphere was young and cool, with funky bars and restaurants all over the place - I had a great time.

    5/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • There were endless gyms left right and centre, which Adobe also paid for as part of a wellness allowance for fitness. Other than this I did not get involved with much but I have heard there is so much to do in London, e.g. Boris Bikes, salsa dancing, bottomless brunches, London Dungeons, London Eye and many tours.
