  • It was very well executed and had all the personal interaction that a non virtual experience has.

  • I felt very valued as the work given to me was proper professional work.

  • The support was great - constant email and phone call communication and the opportunity to ask questions over email, phone call, and video call, at both scheduled times and whenever needed.

  • The information I received and skills I learnt will be very useful to the start of my career as a trainee solicitor.

  • 5. How well structured was the virtual experience?
  • It was very well structured, with a virtual social session before the start of the scheme to ensure we were all fairly comfortable with each other before the vacation scheme began.

  • It was a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend.

  • The firm invested largely in truly understanding what kind of candidate I was, as opposed to a cursory interaction.

  • I felt it helped me to understand what a full time role would be like due to my interactions with current employees, including the graduate recruitment team, trainee and qualified solicitors, and even partners.

  • The experience gave me my first insight into the company culture through my interactions with other employees and the chance to have all my questions answered.

  • There were social events and scheduled video calls to interact with other employees and to ask questions and clarify doubts.

  • Surprisingly interactive for a virtual social event, there were plenty of laughs and chats, a great amount of interaction.

  • I did find out about activities outside work, primarily through interactions with other employees during the vacation scheme such as my supervisor.

  • I would definitely recommend the experience as a great chance to get to know more about the firm.
