The Role
Varied and interesting work, developed programming abilities.
As an intern responsibilities were typically smaller projects but still were important to the business.
Everyone was friendly and were always forthcoming with help and advice.
Busy most of the time.
Given several small software projects with responsibility over all areas.
Technical abilities are very useful.
The Company
Very friendly and easy going, flexible working hours as long as the work got done.
Manager spent considerable time developing my programming abilities.

The Culture
Many interns, mostly living in company owned accommodation so it was just like being at university really.
Accommodation was very cheap and being outside central London prices weren't bad.
Not much night life.
Took part in the many different sporting activities and company outings.
