About You
Ver interesting with in deapth talks from all department with many opportunities to ask questions.
I felt valued by the company as despite COVID and a lot of placements/insight programmes being cancelled ,Savills decided to rearrange original to be based in office but due to the pandemic had to be virtual experience. This was something Savills wanted to avoid to the extent possible so did all they could before deciding on making it Virtual so yeah felt very valued.
Plenty of support was provided as there was regular opportunities to ask questions to all departments and option to ask further questions in the future via email if needed.
The information gathered helped me better decide how I want to shape my career and which roles I would like to be a part of in the future.
The Company
Structured very well with schedule provided in advance and opportunity to speak with all departments.
Very pleasant with experienced staff happy to open up about their path from university to the role they were in and general advice as well. Also, everyone else on the placement/program where nice.
This is something that was discussed for summer and graduate placements but as this was insight program no training took place.
The talks from each department were in deapth and gave examples of projects that had been or in the process of getting complete and allowed plenty of time for questions.
There was some reference to this but more focused oncore skills needed for each department than the culture of Savills as a whole.
A very interesting insight was provided into all the departments and it did give a strong indication of which career path I wish to take.
Everything Else
Virtual experience so no expense occurred.
This was very much restricted do to online nature otherwise everyone would be talking over each other if networking online.
This was very much restricted do to online nature otherwise everyone would be talking over each other if networking online.
Employees from each department very clearly explained their roles and gave examples of projects that are being worked on.
Very insightful so well worth attending if your wishing to persue a career in the property industry.
