About You
It was a very informative and fun experience - I really liked the panel session and also the quiz at the end!
Very much! They were very attentive by answering all my questions.
A lot. I really liked listening to all the speakers talking about their personal journeys to the bank and how they are currently making impact. It was also interesting listening to the amount of support the BoE provides to their employees!
There was a walk through of how the application works and the roles made available by the BoE. The session also emphasised that there are multiple routes into working for the Bank and that there's a diverse range of roles available.
The Company
Very organised and time management was perfect. Everything ran smoothly. Furthermore, there wasn't a second where I didn't understand what was going on, so that's a definite plus!
There was a positive and open atmosphere throughout the whole session - I felt comfortable to ask questions and I didn't feel awkward at all!
They invested their time and effort in delivering the sessions. I was very happy to listen to a broad range of people within the bank and get a clearer image on how their role creates impact. I was very happy because I had some burning questions that I wanted to ask and I was glad that they were answered in a clear and concise manner.
Well like most virtual experiences, there wasn't that 'real feel' of their roles, however, the Bank's employees were amazing at creating a vivid image of their roles. For instance, there were quite a few speakers who outlined their roles and what they would do during and after working hours. It was very informative and helpful.
A lot! I was very pleased to listen to the amount of support the BoE offers to their staff for example their work on mental health and well-being - it really made me feel that the bank treasures their employees. I was pleasantly surprised by how open the staff were and it really helped me understand about the Bank's culture.
Quite a lot of information was given at the start of the session, which I was happy about. I do wish there was a bit more information on the roles themselves i.e responsibilities. But other than that, it was quick, concise and to-the-point, which I really appreciated.
Everything Else
This was a virtual experience (insight session), no payment or reimbursement needed.
Yes, some allowed us to connect via LinkedIn. Since this was a virtual event, the networking was a bit hard, however, we did have the chance to interact by using the chat, but no real conversations. It was understandable though.
Again, since this was a virtual session, it wasn't very social.
Yes! I found out that loads of people work in charities to raise money for a greater cause and some help out their network for example, on events.
Definitely! It was a very eye-opening session, especially if my friends want to know a bit more about the bank and the people who make up the bank! It was a very insightful event and I felt like I understood more about the specific roles that the Bank has to offer.
