The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Volvo Penta UK within the Volvo Group. The business gave me great opportunities that are rare within any other placement provider.
I felt like an official employee, rather than just an intern. I was given responsibilities similar to my colleagues and all my ideas were taken as seriously as there’s.
After every quarterly review, my line manager would put things in place to allow me to get my tasks completed, as well as provide me with the opportunities to work my own development
The team gave me the right amount of work and allowed me to voice when I needed any new jobs.
During my time, I was given many responsibilities, including coordinating an entire marketing campaign, in addition to setting out a marketing plan for the year. The team really appreciate an intern’s opinions and will work with you to find the best solution.
I have developed both on a personal and professional level, which was due to all the opportunities and experience Volvo Penta UK gave me.
The Company
Really positive and supportive atmosphere, also very calm. Really friendly team.
The team informed me of the structure of my placement, and also worked with me to ensure I achieved my goals during the placement period.
The company invested in workshops on marketing and exploring new ways which not only helped the company, but also my personal development.
