About You
I participated in the Dentons insight scheme and found the initiative really useful. The team was very helpful and engaging. I was really impressed that they took the time to answer all our questions. Not only that, though it was held by zoom I felt that there were enough activities to keep the entire event engaging. I enjoyed the negotiation exercise which really helped assist our soft skills when it came to negotiation as well.
I felt that it was really worth my time because I went in with a series of questions but every single question I had compiled was answered promptly and insightful. The organisers really put in the effort to ensure the insight event was engaging and informative and I really believe it was a value of my time.
In short, plenty. I believe the organizers were really helpful in solving every single doubt we had. No question to them was a stupid question which was really the highlight to me. I felt that they were really interactive and provided great feedback accordingly.
I believe my skills have improved greatly in terms of having a better understanding of what to watch out for in my applications and the information received allowed me to paint a better picture of what goals and aspirations I require.
The Company
I believe it was quite well structured. There was a proper flow with a clear introduction to the firm's goals, an activity to keep the attendees engaged, and finally having an interactive session to solve out doubts. I believe it was well structured as the time went by so quickly yet I felt everything needed was covered.
The overall atmosphere was filled with lively energy by the organisers. I could sense a strong sense of understanding and strong bonds between the organizers which gave really engaging energy.
I believed the firm invested a lot of their time energy and motivation in us ensuring the best quality performance for us. The negotiation exercise really went the extra mile giving us a practical experience of the law firm's culture which I truly appreciate.
Greatly, I am very interested to work for this firm.
It allowed me to really tackle the gaps I had in my questions enabling me to understand more of the firm's operation and culture.
Very valuable. The notes I took enabled me to perform better and understand what I set out for myself in the future.
Everything Else
None, the experience was good for me.
Yes, we managed to speak with a partner and various trainees.
There was not much networking oppurtunity. It was done via zoom.
Not much actually.
