The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement at Eaton, I learnt hands on experience in the supply chain environment and was welcomed by all members of staff. I would highly recommend a placement to anyone who is considering it. It is such an insightful and valuable experience.
My colleagues made me feel so welcome all the time, included in everything I did during my placement year. They always offered to help when it was needed and were always willing to go the extra mile in order to help me and improve and develop as an person.
I was often given support by management whenever it was required. They were always very helpful.
Majority of my days i was very busy, this is because i was luckily given a lot of responsibility towards halfway through the year. This responsibility filled my time up massively, however i enjoyed being busy as it made me feel useful within the company.
I believe I was given a lot of responsibility, more than i expected which i was incredibly grateful for and made me believe in myself.
The skills developed will assist me in all future training and within my studies in the future.
The Company
Atmosphere was fun working environment.
Incredibly organised from start to finish including various training programmes throughout the year.
Highly, they even ask me to lead inclusion and diversity team which helped me grow and develop skills as an individual.
Highly appealing.
The Culture
Definitely, it was great to be able to socialise with them at training events.
Cost of living was fairly expensive and there was little socialising.
Nightlife was good, different bars and fairly cheap.
