The Role
I found it really interesting learning different things from different aspects of one team and understanding more about team work in a professional environment.
My colleagues constantly gives me tasks to do and trust me to send them off
Always happy to answer questions and help if you are unsure or want to double check.
Can be busier some days depending on type of tasks and deadlines
Gained more responsibility throughout the year
Learnt so many new things and how each part impacts another part
The Company
Unfortunately due to covid I worked mainly from home but when I was in the office, it’s a lovely environment where you can see how people care about their job and colleagues.
Very well organised and they let you get involved in as many projects as you want. Constantly doing and learning new things.
I was allowed to complete only training courses throughout the year that I can bring back to university and my career after.

Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Future employment prospects are very appealing, it’s easy to move around Honda Motor Europe and into branches if there is a job available.
The Culture
There’s a good number of placement students at Honda who meet up and are very social as well going to agencies and meeting up with colleagues outside of work.
I didn’t live in the same area. However the area isn’t too busy but provides a good atmosphere.
I’d recommend living in reading where the nightlife is good and it’s only 20 minutes to the Honda office.
Unfortunately due to covid there weren’t as many this year as there would normally be but I know there’s normally a lot more.
