The Role
It is difficult at some moments but this is something that helps you grow and develop yourself - and this is the point of every internship.
My mentors, my managers treat me really well, there is no "boss-employee" system, we try to learn from each other and my opinion has always been valued.
Great extend! They are always behind me when I need them and let me do my thing and grow when I can.
It is a job that you have to put in a lot to get a lot back. Being busy is not a bad thing tho, you always have an arena for development which means you can always keep yourself busy. The company lets us run our own business so I decide how busy and when I want to be.
It is my show! They teach me what and how to do, then let me run the show and I get help when I am stuck and I need it!
I am being thought how to develop my communication skills to a high level, how to work with people and work in a team, how to lead a group of people and understand their needs. I am being thought how to sell myself and my ideas to the future employers or how to place myself in the marketplace if I want to start my own business, how to run it and cope with problems. I am being thought what is discipline and how important it is to develop self-discipline, how to stick to my goals and how to plan achieving them. I have been given the chance to experience different organizational aspects of running a business, coordinating and organizing events. I think these are quite good life skills.
The Company
My job involves a lot of traveling. All the seminars we have almost each month are in a different country, the group of people I work with is really fun as well, but also very sharp.
It is a program that has been going on for over 150 years, each year they focus on getting better at different aspects that they can. It has been very well organized and also I have the chance to organize it the way I want it to be as I can choose the people I work with.
The company provides a world-class certified training, I have been going on seminars every month, I have my mentors when I have questions, it is an environment that pushes you to grow constantly.

The company has a big number of sister companies, all developed and run mainly by people who finished the program. With good results I know I have a set up interview with them and can choose either of them as a life career or what is more important can start my own new company, with a great business idea, Southwestern will not turn their back on me.
The Culture
I love the people I work with!
It is a program that encourages students to save money not spend them all, and then teaches about investing as well.
Before every seminar we always have a vacation time, we also have different excursions we win in exotic places and the fun thing is you are always with a big group of friends. It is also very cool that your managers party with you.
It is up to us what kind of activities we would like. Something we are all very proud of is we have the chance to lead our own charity campaigns in the areas we live in and help underprivileged kids and schools.
