    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the virtual experience?
  • Considering the current circumstances, Sara and Georgia at Mace provided a very beneficial and insightful experience. This included: inviting several employees at Mace to inform us of their roles and responsibilities; a virtual site tour; and even interview and CV skills.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • The emerging talent team at Mace focused their time on those of us part of the virtual experience in small groups and individually, on multiple occasions. This made me feel valued by the emerging talent team as they also brought those of us part of the experience together through the events and activities they planned.

    5/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the virtual experience?
  • Georgia and Sara at Mace helped create an environment that made me feel comfortable in asking questions when I wanted to know more about a role or unsure of something. Sara and Georgia then organised a mock interview for me with another employee at Mace, who gave me some feedback on how I performed. Sara then followed up with detailed feedback, giving me guiding information on how to be a better candidate.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The workshops and mock interview provided by the emerging talent team at Mace, helped refine my interview skills along with details that employers look for in a candidate applying for a role and their CV. This really stuck with me and I am sure I will carry this information obtained from the experience with me in my later life.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the virtual experience?
  • It was clear that Sara and Georgia had planned the week thoroughly as they provided us all with a detailed brochure before the week started, following with a daily brochure with more details in what we should expect for the day. Furthermore, those at Mace organised other employees to come on to the call, with great timing, reinforcing the level of thought put into the structure of the week.
