    • Very enjoyable, great atmosphere and really friendly.

    • The chat was open and honest and during activities everyone’s contribution was taken into account and valued equally.

    • The trainees during the group exercise were very helpful and provided guidance and support when carrying out the negotiation task.

    • The skills will be very applicable for applications in future, particularly those to the firm. The insight provided a great background and conveyed the general firm ethos.

    • Very well structured, activities/talks were just the right lengths. The break implemented into the day were also a very good and much appreciated feature.

    • Very open and friendly, there was an open forum feel where any questions whether legal or otherwise could be asked without restriction.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • As an open day the event was an introduction to the firm and a taster for what the firm expects from its potential future trainees. Due to the nature of the event there was not much need for this type of training.

    • Partner and future trainee talks/questions gave a great insight as to what a full time role at Dentons will be like. Would have been good to hear more from the current trainees.

    • The companies culture was conveyed very well by the recruitment staff and the partner talk.

    • The content consolidated Dentons as one of the top firms I will be applying for in 2020/21.

    • The event was virtual so there was no need for such.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Great chance to network with the recruitment staff and future trainees. Would benefit from some networking time with the current trainees.

    • Very helpful, good amount of questions covered and open forum for discussion.

    • We found out about the pro-Bono opportunities offered within work however outside of work was mentioned only briefly.

    • Yes, I would recommend this event to anyone who is interested in the firm and would value to opportunity to get to know the firm further.
