I felt valued as I got to ask as many questions that I had to the employees that were present at the live session. This allowed me to gain personal knowledge that I would have not been able to get from anywhere else.
I received an immense amount of support and guidance from Santander, as we were also had a Google classroom with which the presentation slides were already uploaded before hand. Hence, allowing us students to go over the content before hand.
I developed the skills I needed to know about the financial sector. This has assisted me as I also aim to pursue a career in finance in the future after hopefully doing an economics degree at University.
The Company
Well structured, throughout the entire live sessions. There were few students, which allowed us easily to speak and also motivated me since I knew some of them.
The atmosphere was extremely calm and exciting as everyone was really keen on knowing more as we also had team activities virtually which was interesting.
The company went above and beyond to support me during the insight day, through virtually meetings.
It helped me to also find out the job opportunities available in finance, by also explaining what are the requirements and qualifications required.
It helped me to understand a lot about finance, it's role and responsibilities as well and what the company structure looks like.
Yes, a lot valuable as the slides were also shared with me. It explained me the core values, roles of financial positions and how to apply.
Everything Else
I was not paid.
Yes, i spoke to 2 employees from Santander and met 11+ students.
There were social introduction activities and team thinking pitches of ideas that we were suppose to come up with.
No.
Yes, 10/10. I will recommend.
