  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Very informative regarding steps to pursue a career in finance and provided a key insight into Santander as a collective of departments but also a global influence.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • It was online so familiarity was limited and was only one day. However, the class size was very small so we could contribute easily and it was an enjoyable experience.

    • The representatives gave us their email for further future contact as well as their LinkedIn accounts to help provide support regarding any questions that we had.

    • I was already planning on a career in finance but this course provided an insight into how one could pursue a career with Santander. Very good personal statement and CV drafting advice.

    • Relatively well structured but it was only a day.

    • It was more of an insight programme so, while I understand a lot of effort and time went into producing the slides and the presentation, the company itself didn’t really train us as a work experience programme.

    • Gave an overview of possible departments you can enter in the financial services industry especially with Santander.

    • Santander seemed to be welcoming and a positive atmosphere to learn in during the insight programme plus its goals/ aims and objectives were clearly stated and explained.

    • Reassured my interest in finance. Helped me look at the bigger picture when it comes to my potential career instead of just going down one route.
