About You
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would strongly recommend this to anyone looking to understand the culture at Dentons for a future career with the firm.
The firm welcomes individuals and upholds its standards of inclusivity with respect to the BAME aspirants.
The Company
This is something that I felt was lacking especially from the point of view of a trainee solicitor. Our interaction was with the partners in the firm that our higher up in the hierarchy and therefore, even though they provided wonderful insights into their experiences with the firm, I would have enjoyed hearing the future trainees at the firm a little more to understand my work profile as the junior-most in the hierarchy.
The firm's culture was very well explained and displayed. Having attended the Insight Day and the Fusion/BPN Workshop, I can vouch for Denton's inclusivity and its constant efforts to represent BAME aspirants. Additionally, the graduate recruitment team was helpful in driving solutions to persistent problems faced by non-law students with respect to the procedures mandated for qualifying in the UK.
Everything Else
I had a great opportunity for networking with the partners of the firm. They gave the attendees an insight into their journey at Denton's, the business and the transition to digital media in light of the novel coronavirus.
