The Role
Good placement with mainly good colleagues. Did sometimes feel like school i.e. colleagues could be patronising. As many other placements, work was typically simple and repetitive tasks that senior staff didn't want to do.
Felt as though we were very replaceable and not really a part of the team sometimes.
Managers and supervisors were excellent in making sure we were well trained, knew what we were doing and confident in working.
Kept fairly busy. If you completed all your tasks you were given more/told to train
Not given a huge amount of responsibility, management kept checking on you and your work
Definitely feel more confident presenting, coming up with ideas, being in a corporate environment etc.
The Company
Felt cliquey at times but generally colleagues were fun (sometimes)
Well organised as they knew they would have students coming in and they made us feel welcome
Interns were limited with what training they could do. Otherwise they did try to make sure we were challenged
Probably would not work here again since I felt I didn't fit into the environment, atmosphere and industry
The Culture
Socialising with other interns was fun
As expected, living in london is very expensive
Good bars and clubs
Interns were limited with what they could do
