About You
Friendly people with so much to tell about each role, which made the experience interesting and fun as it was clear the people at Mace enjoyed their job.
This was one of the best parts, I was made to feel apart of the team already and that they really wanted me there.
Lots, all my questions were answered.
My confidence in myself was built so much because of the people at Mace, as well as learning a lot of technical terms and further information about certain roles which makes my career choice easier.
The Company
Amazing, it was clearly thought out. There were enough breaks but I also didn’t feel overly relaxed (as if I didn’t need to work hard) - so it was a good mixture.
Great, everyone seemed passionate and interested. I liked having our cameras on as I could see how everyone else was feeling too and made me feel less alone.
Completely invested in me, it wasn’t just about Mace it was also about the skills needed as an employee. One thing I noticed is how much they helped to boost my confidence throughout this week
I think the week helped me understand the roles better but to understand them on a day to day basis I think you would need to experience this in real life not virtually.
Really well because all staff were from different backgrounds, different ages and different genders so I could see the diversity throughout Mace.
Very valuable, without Mace my choice in civil engineering wouldn’t have been reinforced as strongly
Everything Else
Although if it had taken place in London, Mace would have reimbursed my expenses.
100%, anyone who is interested in a career in construction - this week is super informative and makes the industry seem a lot less scary.
