Overview
- Students have the opportunity to engage in the event, through a case study, a virtual trading simulation, interactive presentations and multiple networking events with analysts, associates and senior leaders.
Skills
Team-working and adaptability skills are developed through working with fellow students and having to virtually work on and present a case study activity.
Business Insight
The business insight was incredibly engaging as you had the opportunity to network closely with analysts, associates and senior leaders and ask more detailed questions regarding their role. You were assigned in incredibly small groups in the networking events, making the interactions and insights more engaging and personal. The firm did a lot to accommodate students through informational presentations, which were interactive as students had the opportunity to ask questions.
Culture
Very exciting and fast paced culture, the people are extremely talented and it shows. A collaborative culture was promoted.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed the opportunity exceedingly, however I wish the event was longer as while it was interactive, we had little time to work on many things
Yes
Refine your cv to one page, ensuring you highlight achievements rather than responsibilities. This wasn't necessary for this insight programme, but for other internships, sharpen your interview skills and practice with family/friends as you'll have to complete a HireVue and assessment centre.
