Overview
-Gained the opportunity to listen to trainees -Gained an insight into the Pro Bono work -Given an opportunity to experience the role of a lawyer through Forage -Learnt more about the commercial legal career and the purpose of law firms -Given an insight into the different employee networks -Given an overview of the SQE -Given advice and tips from trainees and graduate recruitment team

-I developed confidence as we were encouraged to turn our cameras on and ask questions -I developed my commercial awareness as I was given tools and advice to develop it -I learnt more about what a career in law entails and the skills necessary for a lawyer -I developed networking skills -I developed listening skills
Business Insight
It was presented in a structured and well organised manner. It was easy to follow and understand the business and the roles available. The presenters were clearly introduced and they provided an in depth description of their role and the business environment.
Culture
It was BRILLIANT!! I loved the atmosphere and the relationship between the graduate recruitment team and the trainees as well as the solicitors. The firm value the wellbeing of their employees and host events and activities to maintain the wellbeing of their staff. Their Pro Bono work is truly INSPIRING and the firm encourage secondary specialisation which suggests the opportunity the firm offers to its employees.
Your Impressions
I truly enjoyed the insight programme! The culture was amazing, you can feel it radiating from the screen. It was above and beyond how I expected it to be. The fact that it was virtual didn't affect the quality of the insight programme.
Yes
Make sure to answer the question that is being asked and relate it to the firm as well as your skills and experiences. Just be yourself and make sure that you show that in your application form. Good luck!
