Overview
Core responsibilities that are set out at the start of the year. I would report into my manager for any ad hoc work. You are also part of a stretch project which could be in a number of different areas of the business. Mine was accessibility and we ran a few events to raise awareness of digital skills in education.
Skills
I am now a certified Microsoft Office Expert. I will also be working towards various cloud computing certifications
Responsibilities
You are given a lot of responsibility, but you have to go looking for it. It is very dependent on where you end up in the business. If you show initiative you will get loads out of the year.
Support & Guidance
HR were supporting but my mentors and my team were very supportive
Culture
Amazing culture. Very similar to other tech companies such as Apple. A real people first mentality

Research the company, find something you they are doing that you are passionate about and research that, being able to connect your passions to Microsoft's work is key.
