Overview
I help account managers with their accounts and general business reporting for the company.
Skills
100% - I have learned lots during my time at Microsoft, and have really had the opportunity to dive into everything and everything. I would say I have changed as a person, and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here.
Responsibilities
Yes. I was given loads at a very early stage. You are given a large amount of support for this and everyone helps you "own" certain aspects of accounts, or even entire business processes.
Support & Guidance
Quite a bit - we get lots of HR sessions on a wide range of topics, and generally everyone is always happy to help.
Culture
The culture is lovely - everyone cares about what happens at the company, and there is a real pride in working here. Unfortunately due to C-19 we were unable to go to the offices, but still felt included and a part of the company virtually.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it. There were certainly times where I really did not, but on the whole it has been a really good learning experience, has helped me gain confidence and will look really good on my CV.
Yes
Biggest bit of advice would be to showcase team-work. Microsoft is a company that really values this, and I feel that I made it through the assessment centre because of this.
