    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
  • The majority of the day consisted of listening to different people speak from analysts to Vice Presidents. After the talks we had the opportunity to open up discussions and ask questions. The talks were focused at understanding the different teams in Jeffereries and what Investment Banking actually does. There were a couple assessments throughout the week that were spread across the 4 days.

The atmosphere amongst my peers was great however it became tense during the assessments due to nerves and the eagerness to convert this opportunity into a summer internship.

    Your Impressions

  • 5. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • The insight was semi enjoyable, it was very intense and not enough breaks were given which took away from the enjoyment. It would also have been a better experience if we had some speed networking sessions that allowed us to connect with our peers in the spring week more. The suspense built around the assessments also contributed to reducing the overall enjoyment.
