The Role
The placement was very enjoyable.
Everyone was extremely friendly and keen to give advice on how to make the most of the placement experience. The work shadowing opportunities were particularly insightful.
The schedules of each day were clear and the supervisors were very approachable.
The days were extremely busy with no real breaks provided from 9am to 8pm as even the lunches were combined with networking sessions.
I was not given any responsibilty during the placement as it was only for 2 days and was designed to give an insight into the business through work shadowing and presentations.
The tips on writing an applications for J.P.Morgan were extremely useful and are skills I have learnt for life.
The Company
I was impressed by the friendliness of all colleagues.
The placement was very well organised with a clear structure of each day.
The company provided several talks to develop our understanding of the business.
Subsidised Canteen
The placement made me want to work for the company even more.
The Culture
There were around 30 placement colleagues and we all worked well together.
The area seemed reasonably priced but I was only there for 2 days so did not get to see much of it.
I did not experience the nightlife.
I am unsure of the opportunities outside of work.
