    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

    • Daily tasks included research, proofreading, contractual interpretation, analysis of legal arguments for supervisors within our groups. Daily calls with supervisors and trainee buddies. Daily talks on various areas within the firm, including pro bono. Pro bono presentations (unassessed) within groups, presenting on access to justice and improving diversity initiatives.

    • Improved my research skills, distinguishing between statute law and case law. Learning to read around a subject and go beyond the task to offer your own analysis.
