Overview
Webinars that were interactive, usually every day from employees who had a variety of roles at the firm. It also involved networking with peers and those working at Rothschild. We also took part in an investment banking workshop to learn the technical skills involved.
Skills
Technical skills related to banking e.g. multiples and valuation methodologies.
Business Insight
Given the virtual environment, I was able to gain as much in depth knowledge as possible. I particularly enjoyed the breadth of presentations showcasing roles in all 3 areas of the bank's services.
Culture
Extremely friendly and inclusive. Welcoming for those from all different academic backgrounds and open to new approaches. Very academic and hardworking too.
Your Impressions
While it was in a virtual format, the emphasis on team work especially during the group M&A project was invaluable. I would love to work there as a graduate as it seemed like a an environment conducive to both personal and professional growth opportunities.
