  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • A good insight into financial regulation and overview of the different working divisions

  • Extremely friendly environment with a flat hierarchy between all staff

  • Very supportive programme, with plenty of time for questions all day long

  • The day consisted of a busy planned schedule for the 3 days, so we were always involved in something.

  • What you would expect from an insight programme, so no responsibility but instead, worked with case studies

  • Some interesting insight into risk financial modeling; practice with presentation and teamwork skills; furthered my interest in finance

  • Very friendly and warm atmosphere

  • Extremely organised, a planned schedule from when we woke up until we got back to the hotel

  • Plenty of presentations focused on the FSA itself, a few challenging exercises but overall little place for personal skills

  • I am very interested in working for the FSA and it could serve as a useful springboard into the financial services industry

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Very friendly interns, got along with everyone

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • A normal amount you'd expect for living in London and staying at a 3 star hotel

  • Didn't go out but it is great

  • Aside from the insight programme, the staff have a gym as well as certain organised sports activities
