Overview
Even though it was virtual, it was extremely enjoyable. heard from many inspirational speakers, got to interact with other candidates during a case study exercise. I learnt more about EY and the Strategy and Transactions division.
Skills
Communication skills. Enabled me to work better in a team. Discussion skills. Learnt how to develop my personal brand
Business Insight
it was eye-opening and I got to experience what it's like to work in the different sub-service lines. This helped me to decide which department I would potentially like to work in in the future.
Culture
Really good. They focus on diversity and inclusiveness a lot which shows they are keen to make a difference. EY has many values it holds and bases all of its operations around. I enjoyed getting to know some of the existing employees.
Your Impressions
I really really enjoyed the insight experience and I would definitely recommend it to people who are interested in a career in the Accounting/Finance industry.
Yes
I would say be yourself. EY are a very genuine company that is employee-driven and have the interests of their employees at heart. They are very accepting, so whatever your background may be, APPLY! Give it a go and you will learn a lot from it !
