Overview
The first week primarily involved training in accounting and valuation techniques, as well as the fundamental functions of divisions within Investment Banking. This was interspersed with keynote speakers from various parts of Goldman Sachs. The second week had a stronger focus on networking and group work, including pitching and presenting 2 separate case studies.

Business Insight
Networking within various divisions gave me an insight to the different roles that operate within the business. My understanding of the Goldman Sachs business model also improved due to the insightful talks held by senior staff.
Culture
Excellent, everyone was open to provide insight and guidance. The general workplace culture was totally inclusive and progressive.
