Overview
Networking and engaging in discussions with senior bankers as well as working towards delivering two presentations in the last week.
Skills
Have developed my networking and organization skills, especially given the many events and the timetable been jam-packed. Also developed financial knowledge and understanding of the thought process of a deal.
Business Insight
It was quite daunting at times and required extra reading time and many hours of research. However, staying curious was also very important.
Culture
The HCM team and the wider network were very welcoming and answered questions to such a high level. Everyone was also open to having calls and networking despite their busy schedule.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed it and appreciated gaining a better understanding of banking as a result. Also met such amazing and engaging people.

Make sure to network with those within the network, that will help in the long run. Also brush up on technical knowledge if you're thinking of a summer conversion.
