Overview
I was introduced to the various divisions in Rothschild & Co's global advisory and had the opportunity to ask questions at the end of each presentation, making the programme quite interactive. In addition to that I participated in a social event and a restructuring case study, as well as took part in a group project relating to an acquisition evaluation.
Skills
The Fitch learning presentation really did broaden my understanding on the different valuation methodologies and I believe that the project has developed my analytical thinking as it required quite a bit of reading on both companies and later use the information to evaluate if the possible merger or acquisition would be accretive.
Business Insight
The programme allowed me to understand the range of roles ranging from particular industry sector divisions to more general product divisions.
Culture
The company culture was very friendly and supportive. People were willing to share their experiences and help in any way possible

I genuinely enjoyed meeting and talking to so many new people including the bankers, recruiters and students who took part of it.
