Overview
We had talks and presentations roughlt from 9-5 everyday, with a couple of end of day light-hearted social events. There were always opportunities to ask questions and to network with the staff.
Skills
I definitely developed a lot of technical skills and knowledge about the specific divisions and learnt more on how to provide services to clients at a high standard.
Business Insight
It started with a high level overview which was a great way to build the foundations to understanding GCIB. They explained it in very clear and concise ways, and using past case studies really boosted my understanding.
Culture
They had a huge focus on ESG and we experiences first hand some policies they have implemented into their culture because of this. Everyone was extremely kind and helpful, and always willing to give you a moment of their time to help you learn more and answer any questions.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed it, the division was much more varied than I initially thought and the networking opportunities were really great. Again the people were lovely, I'd love to return to the company later in my career.
Yes
Reach out to people prior to your interviews, everyone is willing to help you and they genuinely do want the best for you! Do some research yourself, but it can seem very confusing but don't worry, at a Spring Insight level they don't expect you to know everything. Be open and willing to learn and most importantly, be yourself - that's exactly what they want to see.
