Overview
The insight involved three days of interesting talks from the equity research, multi asset, and fixed income divisions. We were then set a task based on the skillset of each division and had to pitch an investment to a current Fidelity associate. Each day provided opportunities to network with intern peers and current associates, as well as a strong insight into the workings of the firm.
Skills
I have improved on my presentation skills. Furthermore, whilst doing so I have improved in having a more analytical approach to considering bonds, equity investments, and alternative assets.
Business Insight
It was very helpful to receive a direct insight into what an asset management firm is like as well as into the financial services industry as a whole.
Culture
The company seemed very friendly and inclusive.
Your Impressions
I very much enjoyed the insight. The opportunity to learn directly from Fidelity was of great help to me as an individual who has not been so involved in the financial sector before.
