Overview
It consisted of training for the first week with the whole cohort of Women's Immersion Interns, with training in finance, excel and soft skills. Then a week with one assigned desk, working on an assigned project and presenting at the end of the week.
Skills
Developed knowledge of finance and the industry in general. Improved excel skills through a useful workshop and improved networking skills throughout the week.
Business Insight
They offered a broad overview of roles available with some more specific talks from graduates. Also gained an in-depth understanding of the work done in the department to which you are assigned. Everyone was very open to being spoken to also.
Culture
Very positive, open, friendly and encouraging.
Your Impressions
It was a really enjoyable experience, the HR staff running it were very attentive and considerate, and everyone was very friendly, wanting to ensure that the interns were able to get the most out of it.
