The Role
Nothing is perfect!
The people at Accenture are great - bright, interesting and supportive all the way, especially to interns.
It is easy to establish relationships with colleagues and superiors so it is not a struggle to learn from them, especially when they are actively supporting your development through the performance management process.
I gave this a wimpy 6 because how busy you are can vary so much between roles.
This can also vary greatly. For example, my first role gave me less responsibility than my second roll because of the complex nature of the project I was working on but during my second role I was responsible for a lot more - even running the project from our side whilst my manager was on leave.
The internship has developed a wide range of skills for me - communicativ skillse, organisational skills, thinking skills, teamwork skills, social skills etc.
The Company
There is a great balance at Accenture. Given the nature of the employees, there is likely to be an enjoyable atmosphere at our offices and those of our client when we are based theres. This is despite the fact that the work can be challenging and that we know it has to be done well.
HR have got this right in my opinion. From the training week to the intern events, they always did their best to support us and run the placement smoothly.
Accenture knows that its employees drive its rapidly growing success, so there are plenty of ways in which they invest in us.

If you perform well on project, your managers will make this known to HR via the performance management process. This could then lead to you returning for extra experience during university and then possibly a job if this goes well.
The Culture
All the interns were always on form at our social events and we had a lot of fun...sometimes followed by a less enjoyable morning after!
If you are based out of town like I was for most of my internship, expenses are paid for you so the cost of living is reduced dramatically.
Great in London of course, but not so great at the particular client site I was based at although we made the best of it so not bad at all.
From the Lifa@ engagements to Accenture's various networks and sports clubs, there is so much to be a part of.
