The Role
The experience that I got was amazing, i was thrown in at the deep end and feel that I have learnt an invaluable amount about working in a large corporate company. I can not say that I enjoyed every moment of my placement but overall it was a good experience.
I felt that I was valued as if I was a graduate joiner. There was no prejudice towards me as I was only on internship.
My managers were always helpful and gave me support when I requested it.
It went in waves. Sometimes I would be very busy and others not at all. It varied between projects and the phase at which the project was at.
In certain areas I was given responsibility. This was great as I was not always following instructions but actually managing my own tasks. There were instances where I was the owner of a task and the go to person in that area for the whole of the project.
I have learnt so much about how business's work and what is required in the work place. My ICT skills have also greatly increased.
The Company
It was always busy and friendly. I had a laugh with the people that I worked with when the time was right.
All was organised on time and as the company would opperate.
We were given the opportunity to do limitless internet courses to improve our skills and also offered the chance to undertake an NVQ in management.

Healthcare from home
The company is great but you are required to work incredibly hard and it is very competitive internally.
The Culture
We had frequent intern events that kept us all connected.
i was always on out of town projects so never had to pay my own living/travel expenses
The places where i worked varied hugely but there was always a weekly Accenture event to ensure that you had some fun outside of the office.
Yes, if you were keen you could take part in many different things. It differs from project to project but there are always things.
