    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I've further enhanced my knowledge of IB, CM, CB, as well as other divisions. I learned about IPOs first hand and had the opportunity to take part in a simulation, developing existing skills like presentation skills (PowerPoint slides and verbal presentation), teamworking (by collaborating with 5 other people to deliver a successful IPO and then invest in other companies). I expanded my market knowledge.

    Business Insight

  • 3. What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
  • It was an amazing opportunity to learn first-hand from experts about the industry and its' roles. From a superficial view, the roles within the banking industry are narrow, yet participating in this insight week showed me that there are a lot of subgroups within each division, making the professional market very broad and interesting. Getting the opportunity to understand key facts about the business was insightful and it made me want to pursue this career.
