Overview
- Showing the team the metrics that you have generated which states team progress as well projection based on current progress. - Participate in daily meetings to show any inconsistencies with data - Maintaining software used to automate tasks for the team - Requirement management.
Skills
- Developing programs to help automate most of my tasks (i.e through Visual Basics, batch etc) - Learning quickly to understand team process and use that knowledge to complete tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
During the first few months as I was easing in to the process, I was observing the team process as well as understanding the software the team were using. After a few months, I was becoming more independent and the tasks were increasing in complexity. I had tighter deadlines as well as more responsibility to get the work completed.
Support & Guidance
There was never a moment were I felt helpless because there was always someone I can ask and they will aid you in understanding the task at hand.
Culture
Work from home - extremely flexible and a very friendly team.
Your Impressions
I have really enjoyed my year at Lockheed Martin. I have met some great characters and personalities during my internship. I am extremely thankful of the team for imparting some of their wisdom to help me in the future.
