Overview
Each week you would have similar tasks to complete, including reviewing the bank accounts ensuring they are maintained, recording transactions, posting journals, month end tasks at the end of each month, etc.
Skills
I have improved upon my time management skills, communication skills and teamworking skills.
Responsibilities
I was given lots of responsibility and as time goes on you are given more and more tasks and therefore more responsibility
Support & Guidance
There was lots of support and guidance. I was given a 6 week training period which was very useful as well as a training guide which was good as I could always look back on it. There were always people around to help if I was struggling
Culture
It is hard to tell as I did my internship remotely due to COVID but despite the lack of in-person interactions I was still made to feel a part of the team. Everyone was very friendly and approachable.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my placement, it gave me an amazing insight into day to day accounting tasks and has made me feel much more confident. It is a shame that it had to be virtual, but despite this I was made to feel a part of the team and still managed to do well and develop throughout the time I spent here.

To definitely apply, they have a very good internship programmed and everything is planned well. You are able to take on lost of responsibility giving you good experience.
