The Role
As there are a wide variety of projects and work, it can be luck as to where you get placed. However, the people here are the ones that really make it enjoyable.
A good balance
As long as you seek it help when necessary, it is always there for you
Some give or take but on the whole busy but not overly so.
Dependent on the project and how you coped through the first weeks, gained more responsibility as the placement progressed
Invaluable, everything from presentation/office behaviour down to the actual work.
The Company
Good balance between fun and serious work dependent on how busy things were
Very well organised and dedicated HR team who soley deal with interns.
There was a program to gain further qualifications but it was not that useful. However, personal development through project work was really good.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
There is a big push for interns to come back to Accenture after university with added financial bonus.
The Culture
Hard to say as will depend on individuals but company encouraged socialising.
London is very expensive.
But the choice and variety is really good as it is such a big city
You had to seek these out though but there were many sports clubs.
