Skills
IBM promotes a culture of learning and continuous development. During my placement year, I've improved my finance-related skills, procurement, communication, teamwork and design thinking. I've also earned 20 digital badges while developing my understanding of mathematical modelling, data science, ai and many more.
Responsibilities
My team and managers trusted me from the first moment while providing continuous support.
Support & Guidance
As much as needed. There is support available in all areas of development needed or searched for.
Culture
The current situation made my placement year to be entirely virtual, not having the chance of experiencing the office environment. However, the team was really supportive and prepared, therefore my work hasn't been impacted at all and the culture of collaboration and teamwork was present at all time.
Your Impressions
I feel I have learned a lot and I would recommend the company to anyone.
