  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

    • My role involved pulling reports, helping with different projects but I also had time for being involved in projects outside of my role e.g. Be The Change. My tasks required working in a team but also individually.

    • Definitely! I have for sure developed my presentation skills as well as business awareness. I have gained new skills specific to my role and many soft skills such as communication, critical thinking. I have developed my confidence and learnt how to express my ideas.

    • I believe was given much responsibility but at the same every time I needed help, I received it. Thus, given responsibility wasn't overwhelming and allowed me to develop my skills faster.

    • I have received much support and guidance. However, to the level that I could make my own decision and complete my tasks in a way that I found as the best option.

    • The atmosphere was really friendly and supportive. I have made many friends during my placement and always had a person who I could ask for help.

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

    • I have really enjoyed my placement. I see how positively this placement has changed me and influenced my way of being. There was always enough time to get my work done and have a coffee with other associate to learn about different roles within JDE.
